Jeffrey L. Nash is co-founder of Nash Perez, LLC. a general practice law firm based in Camden, New Jersey. Prior to partnering with Rafael “Ray” Perez to form Nash Perez, Jeff founded and served as managing partner of The Nash Law Group, LLC. from 2015 – 2022. From 1987 to 2015, Jeff was an attorney with the prestigious Philadelphia-based law firm of Cozen O’Connor, serving as a senior partner and shareholder. Jeff and Ray were partners at Cozen O’Connor for many years. Jeff’s clients have included some of the nation’s top real estate investment trusts, energy and infrastructure organizations, health care providers, insurance companies, and governmental entities. He specializes in litigation, government relations, land use, and strategic planning. In addition to his 40+ year career as an attorney, Jeff is also a long-standing elected governmental leader in New Jersey. He is the longest serving member of the Camden County Board of Commissioners, a position he has held since 1992. He has also served for the past twenty years as the Vice Chairman of the Delaware River Port Authority, having been appointed and reappointed to that position by four different New Jersey Governors, from both political parties. Jeff is involved in many community projects. Most notably, he currently serves as the CEO of the Rowan University Rutgers Camden Board of Governors and is the Chairman of the Volunteer UP Legal Clinic of Camden N.J. He is also serves of on the Jewish Family and Childrens Services Advisory Board. Jeff is a graduate of George Washington University (B.S. 1980) and Hofstra University School of Law (J.D. 1983). He resides in Winslow Township, New Jersey with his wife Krista. They have three adult children.


RAFAEL PEREZ
PARTNER
Rafael Perez joined Jeff Nash as a partner in January 2023 to form Nash Perez, LLC , where he will continue to advise banks, state and local entities and agencies, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, health care organizations and for-profit corporations on public finance and corporate finance matters. Perez has served as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, trustee's counsel and borrower's counsel in the full array of public finance matters. In addition, he represents corporations and financial institutions in transactional and general corporate matters. Perez previously served as executive director of the New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority, where he was responsible for the financing and development of various facilities for the state's public and private institutions of higher education. Mr. Perez previously co-chaired the Public and Project Finance practice group of Cozen O'Connor and most recently served as chair of the Public Finance practice at Connell Foley, LLP. Perez has previously served as chairman of the board of trustees of New Jersey City University and as a member of the board of trustees of the Independent College Fund of New Jersey. In 2013, he received the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey's (SHCC-NJ) "Attorney of the Year Award" . Mr. Perez also previously served as regional president of the National Hispanic Bar Association from 1989-1990, president of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey from 1994-1995. and as a trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association from 1996-2002. Ray lives in Bethlehem Township, NJ with his wife Kathleen and they have three adult daughters.
